Trend & Thomas has been providing estate agency and surveying services since 1984. At the helm is Neil Guilfoyle, a highly experienced estate agent who’s been involved in property sales ever since leaving school. Alongside Neil is his wife, Belinda-Jane, who will be happy to advise you on the best nurseries, schools and all the other important questions when settling into a new area.

On the ground is our exceptional team of negotiators and property managers. Some have been with us for over a decade, and all can provide you with a deep knowledge of the best neighbourhoods, properties and homes in the area and a genuinely friendly attitude to boot. You can actually touch and feel them, which isn’t something that can be said of our online competitors.

During our three decades in business, Trend & Thomas has built solid connections with local solicitors, developers and building contractors. This enables us to streamline sales progression and sidestep the hurdles that can get in the way. On top of that, we work long hours and even on Sundays to keep every property transaction on track.

Professional Surveying & Valuing services are led by Paul Harris FRICS. Present in the town since our inception and with an unrivalled knowledge of Rickmansworth that comes with this longevity & experience.

An Estate Agent since he was 16, Neil is your true Industry professional - although these days he wears much better suits. Not quite in short trousers anymore, it would be hard to find anyone with more Property experience than Neil.

Neil not only manages Trend & Thomas on a day to day basis & often 7 days a week but he also lives in the Town Centre in Rickmansworth so he’s happily immersed in the local area professionally, socially and personally. Neil is unassuming, full of integrity, principled and what is most impressive is that he’s respected by colleagues & competitors alike.

Neil loves his Golf particularly at Moor Park, he definitely enjoys a pint in the local pubs and embraces all that our lovely area has to offer with his young family. Neil runs a tight ship in the office but jollies it up with a ready laugh & his trademark sense of humour.

Belinda- Jane Guilfoyle

Marketing & Accounts

Belinda-Jane is a proud New Zealander who has been in the UK for over 25 years now. Having held senior positions in Central London within Marketing and Events Companies for many years, her broad experience is invaluable to us and her non Estate Agency background is refreshing.

Belinda-Jane has been (happily) married to Neil for 10 years and has held the position of Marketing/Accounts Director since 2008. Our social media footprint is something Belinda-Jane has taken as her own and we are very proud of our contemporary thinking in this regard.

Belinda-Jane enjoys a hectic family life looking after two young children and Neil of course! Away from the office her interests are diverse from Design & Interiors to wine & travel but the reliable constant is supporting her beloved New Zealand teams, whatever the sport!

Joe Freeth

Joe joined our team at Trend & Thomas in April 2017 as a Senior Sales Consultant, having previously worked in a similar role in the Amersham market for five and a half years.

Joe has such dedication to his role in the sales process and we regularly receive compliments about his efforts to go above and beyond to ensure our clients achieve their sale or purchase with a minimum of fuss. Joe carries out appraisals, negotiates the deals and progresses the sale but most of all enjoys handing you the keys.

We are even more impressed with Joes’ dedication bearing in mind he welcomed his first child into the world earlier this year…his fitness regime might have taken a slower pace but not his work ethic!

Kerry Giggs-Jones

Kerry has been with Trend & Thomas since 2004 when we sold her house! Kerry was so impressed with our service she asked if we had any vacancies and has been here for 13 years working her way up to Senior Sales Consultant.

Kerry is married with 3 children and has lived in the area for over 30 years. Her children have gone to the local schools & groups and this has given her an unrivalled knowledge of the local area. This wealth of information, added to Kerry’s bubbly personality & warmth make her an exceptional asset to both us and those selling or buying locally.

Kerry is so passionate about her job and loves the challenge and satisfaction of finding the right home for our customers.

John Walker

With over 8 years experience working for a Corporate Landlord in Central London & ARLA qualifications to his name, John was the perfect fit for taking over at the helm of our Property Management department in June 2017.

Excellent Property Management requires a calm, experienced, diplomatic and detailed approach – John has these skills in abundance and has been a fantastic addition to our team. Maybe some of his exceptional ability comes from the fact John has run 15 marathons in various places around the UK, raising money for charity as he goes! John also enjoys watching Rugby, Football and Cricket, travelling… and to the delight of the Trend & Thomas team his wife runs a wonderful country Pub… perfect for our team outings!

Claire Rogers

Lettings Negotiator

Claire has worked in the Lettings industry for over 10 years and previously gained her ARLA qualification. Claire joined us in 2013 part time in hours but full time in her passion for the fast pace and people contact involved with Lettings. Claire is an encyclopaedia of knowledge about the legality of Tenancies and keeps us up to date.

Claire has two very energetic boys who keep her busy at home but we also make sure she has some time for making us her delicious baking treats!

Sasha Foley

Sasha Foley
Office Manager

Sasha joined Trend & Thomas in June 2016 as Office Manager and PA to the Director. In the past 16 years she has worked in retail, hospitality and customer service industries which make her perfect for the front line of our Estate Agency! Sasha keeps the team in check, our systems up to date and Neil’s jokes above board – all with a cheerful smile.

Sasha has lived in Rickmansworth for the last 5 years with her husband who she recently married on a glorious summer’s day at The Waterside, Rickmansworth….Sasha has been known to seldom need an excuse for a bit of karaoke!
